Our licensed Health Coach can help you develop a personalized health plan to manage all the components of your life. This can be illustrated through the Wheel of Life which can be broken down into 5 areas of your life. The first step in this coaching process is developing an optimal health vision. How would you like to feel and look? What activities would you like to be able to do? Our coach will help paint a vivid picture of what optimal health would be like for you.

This individualized approach is structured to be an intervention strategy in the treatment and management of chronic disease. We will provide you a different approach from what conventional medicine offers by providing you with the support and resources you need to help manage your stress and time. The study and practice of how to help individuals understand that their daily habits and practices have a profound impact on their short and long term health and quality of life.

Areas of your Wheel of Life which we will be addressing:

Mindful Awareness- Awareness of the present moment; paying attention to what you are doing while you are doing it.

Movement, Exercise, and Rest- Activities of daily living like cleaning and gardening as well as dancing, yoga, walking, running, cycling balanced with adequate rest and relaxation.

Nutrition- Eating a balanced, healthy diet.

Physical Environment- Spaces where you live/work (light, noise, toxins, color) as well as landscapes surrounding those spaces.

Relationships and Communication- Spending time with family, friends, and/or coworkers who are supportive and with whom you communicate effectively.

Spirituality- Seeing purpose and meaning in something larger than one’s self; may include religious affiliation or other areas such as nature or arts.

Personal and Professional Development- Growing and developing one’s own abilities, talents and interests, both in ‘being’ and ‘doing’ and living with both in balance.

Mind-Body Connection- Paying attention to the interconnectedness of the mind and body and the effects they have on each other. Using techniques such as breathing practices, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation or guided imagery to activate the body’s relaxation and healing response.
